Yoga Instructor | Reiki Master | Designer
I’ve been fascinated by the nature of human behavior for as long as I can remember myself. Indeed, we humans are such complex beings, I find the depth of human mind & soul truly inspiring. My mind and heart are always seeking ways to understand people more deeply, – their motivations, fears, and what made them the way they are today. This yearning has been leading me towards careers built around understanding people’s needs and helping them achieve their dreams. As an ESL teacher, my primary concern was assisting students of all ages by tailoring learning experience to their needs and life goals. A longing for helping people overcome challenges in achieving their goals by creative problem solving brought me to the user experience design. Despite the fact I seemed to have the right ingredients to bring visions to life and help others, I still needed clarity to cut through the mental noise and cultural programming to be able to move toward my own dreams, learning to trust my intuition and life along the way. Seeking truth, wisdom and ways to navigate life’s trials and tribulations eventually led me to yoga, meditation and energy work. I had to go through my own healing journey to remember who I really was and what I came here to do. I’ve devoted the past couple years to transforming every aspect of myself – physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I’m 100% committed to practicing what I preach and supporting people from my genuine, personal experience. As a life-long learner and passionate truth-seeker, I’m continually exploring new transformational tools, teachings and strategies to initiate the deepest shifts, with the most ease. I’m a certified Yoga Instructor and a Reiki Master Teacher certified in Usui Shiki Ryoho. Being the energy medicine practitioner allows me to live each day doing what I love most – growing, learning and helping others in this great mystery of life.
My story
Since I was little, I’ve been seeking answers to the questions like: Why are we here? Where did we come from? Where is home? Yet, there were 3 things I knew at the core: 1. Home isn’t the place where I was born. 2. I can’t be doing one thing all my life. 3. Doing things for others brings joy. All three turned out to be the cornerstone of my further life unfolding. I traveled all over the word searching for home and explored various careers seeking fulfillment in being of service to others. It was far from living the high-life, though. There were major ups and downs that repeatedly destroyed my foundations. Immigration, separation from family, isolation, spinal cord injury, feeling depressed and completely lost. Looking back, it fascinates me how life slips in through the back door to carve out the person you’re meant to become by refining all aspects of your Self.
